Family Support Update April 2026

In 2026, Ribbons of C.A.R.E. has provided three ChildC.A.R.E. Grants to families navigating serious medical challenges.

We supported Cam, a young child with congenital heart disease preparing for his third open-heart surgery, with a childcare grant for summer camp for his sibling’s.

We also assisted a 39-year-old father undergoing cancer treatment while caring for a toddler and preparing for a new baby, providing in-home childcare support so his wife could attend critical medical appointments. A second grant was later awarded to continue supporting the family throughout treatment.

Each grant reflects our mission to remove childcare barriers so families can focus on healing, hope, and being together.
